To help organize your advertiser details, you can add brands or products, or associate your products with brands. The products are subsets of brands, and each brand can have a separate set of products associated with it. You can also change and remove brands and products.
To add brands and products:
1 Open the Brands/Products tab in Accounts:
• Click the Accounts tab, then click the Advertisers link at the top of the page.
• Select the advertiser:
– Optionally, search for the name:
+ Click the button in the toolbar.
+ Select columns to search and click OK.
+ Type at least two characters in the search box and click the Search button.
To return to the original list and clear the search, click the Show All Rows link.
– To sort a column, click the column heading. Click again to reverse the order in the same column.
A black arrow on top means the sort is in ascending order (lowest to highest). A black arrow on the bottom means the sort is in descending order (highest to lowest).
– Click the name link.
• Click the Brands/Products tab.
2 Add a brand:
• Click the Add New Brand button.
• In the highlighted and empty row, type the brand name and press the Enter key.
• Optionally, type a brand code.
• Press the Enter key to keep the brand details you typed.
3 Add a product:
• In the Brand box, click the associated brand for the product to highlight it.
OR click No Brand at the top of the list if the product doesn't have a brand.
• Click the Add New Product button.
• In the highlighted and empty row, type the product name and press the Enter key.
• Optionally, type a product code.
• Press the Enter key to keep the product details you typed.
• Repeat this step to add more products for the brand.
To clear the details you added before saving, click Undo in the toolbar.
4 Click Save in the toolbar to keep your changes.
After saving additions and changes, brands and products display in alphabetical order. To return to the advertiser list, click the Back to List button in the top left corner.
To change brands and products:
1 Open the Brands/Products tab in Accounts:
• Click the Accounts tab, then click the Advertisers link at the top of the page.

– Optionally, search for the name:
+ Click the button in the toolbar.
+ Select columns to search and click OK.
+ Type at least two characters in the search box and click the Search button.
To return to the original list and clear the search, click the Show All Rows link.

• Click the Brands/Products tab.
2 Optionally, search for a brand:
• Click the button in the toolbar.
• Click one or more checkboxes to select columns to search and click OK.
Click a box again to clear the check.
• Type at least two characters in the box and click the Search button.
To clear the search box and return to the original list, click the Show All Rows link.
3 Change a brand:
• Click a Brand box and make needed changes.
Highlight characters to change and type new characters, or position the cursor to add or remove characters.
• Press Enter to move to the Brand Code box and make changes.
4 Change a product:
• In the Brands box, click the product's brand.
OR click No Brand at the top of the list if the product has no brand.
• Click the product column to change and make needed changes.
• Press the Enter key to advance to the next column.
If you want to clear the details you changed before saving, click Undo in the toolbar.
5 Click Save in the toolbar to keep your changes.
After saving additions and changes, brands and products display in alphabetical order. To return to the advertiser list, click the Back to List button in the top left corner.
To remove brands and products:
You cannot remove a brand and/or product if it is associated with a proposal. When you remove a brand, Tapscan also removes all products associated with the brand.

3 Remove a brand:
• Click the checkbox in the first column before the brand to remove.
• Click Delete in the toolbar.
• Click OK when prompted to delete the brand.
4 Remove a product:
• In the Brands box, click the product's brand.
OR if the product doesn't have a brand, select No Brand at the top of the list.
• Click the checkbox in the first column before the product to remove.
• Click Delete in the toolbar.
• Click OK when prompted to delete the product.
5 Click Save in the toolbar to keep your changes.
