Footnotes

Disclaimers

Unavailable estimates — Estimates displayed blank are unavailable due to the lack of available ratings or presence of manual ratings. Qualitative estimates are available only when Nielsen Audio ratings are applied.

Broadcast/Calendar dayparts — Estimates reported for dayparts which start and end between 12m and 5a are based on the 5a-5a broadcast day. Estimates for all other dayparts are based on the 12m-12m calendar day.

In-tab — Please note: The in-tab reported is for the full twelve weeks of the survey. Users should note that reports run on fewer than twelve weeks are based on smaller sample sizes.

In-tab — The minimum in-tab required for any non-standard selection or report period will continue to be 30. When standard age/sex demos are selected for a total report period, there will be no minimum in-tab required to run the report (these estimates may have suspect reliability and should be used with caution when in-tab is below 30).

First selected survey is Diary and not small market — Stations qualify to be reported if they have received credit for five or more minutes of listening in at least 10 in-tab diaries in the survey area, Monday-Sunday Midnight-Midnight, during the survey period.

(Prior to January 2025, stations qualified if they received credit for five or more minutes)

First selected survey is PPM/Diary Combo — Audience estimates for eligible stations and combos (as described above) will be reported if the station or combo has met the following minimum reporting standards among Persons 12+, during the Monday-Sunday 6AM-Midnight daypart for the applicable 12-week report period:

a. The station must have been credited for at least one quarter-hour in at least one In-Tab Diary or Meter, and

b. The station or combo must have a Cume rating of 0.495 or greater.

Reach and/or frequency — Estimates are derived from panelists that provided the listening data for the PPM Service and are subject to the limitations stated within that Service Report. The Reach and Frequency Model utilized by Nielsen Audio is formulated on the bases of the Harris Model, a Linear Frequency reach-and-frequency model, and the Slide Rule audience (cume) growth model.

NRD — Audience estimates for digital audio reflect listening in PPM-measured areas only.

PPM and PPM/Diary Combo — PPM ratings are based on audience estimates and are the opinion of Nielsen and should not be relied on for precise accuracy or precise representativeness of a demographic or radio market.
