You can export a schedule to an .xls file which opens in Excel. You can also print the schedule from Excel.
To export a schedule:
1. You may need to set up Tapscan as a trusted site to avoid displaying a message bar and needing to recover your schedule before exporting. This step is only needed the first time you
For Internet Explorer...
• Close Tapscan.
• On the home page where you view the list of available web apps, open the Tools menu in the Internet Explorer toolbar and select Internet Options.
• Open the Security tab, select Trusted Sites and click the Sites button.
• Type http://*.nielsen.com in the Add this Web site to the zone box and click Add.
• Click Close and then click OK.
• Relaunch Tapscan.
A security message may display to verify you're trying to open Tapscan. Click Yes.
For Firefox...
• Close Tapscan.
• On the home page where you view the list of available web apps, open the Tools menu in the Firefox toolbar and select Options.
• Click the Exceptions button for the checked Block pop-up windows option.
• Type tapweb.nielsen.com in the Address of web site box and click the Allow button.
• Click Close and then click OK.
• Relaunch Tapscan.
For Chrome...
• Close Tapscan.
• On the home page where you view the list of available web apps, click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
• Select Settings.
• Click Show advanced settings.
• In the Privacy section, click the Content settings button.
• In the Pop-ups section, click Manage exceptions.
• Type [*.]nielsen.com in the box and select Allow for the behavior.
• Click Done.
• Relaunch Tapscan.
2. Create or open the schedule that you want to export.
3. Click the Export to Excel button in the toolbar.
If nothing seems to happen, look for a light yellow information bar just under your browser's title bar. Click the X on the bar to close it, close Tapscan, and return to step 1 above.
4. In the File Download dialog, click Open to open the report in Excel.
OR click Save to store the .xls file on your computer.
When you view the report in Excel, the sourcing details display above the schedule and footnotes and disclaimers appear below the schedule. Only footnotes for scheduled spots appear; rows that you toggle off or rows with zero spots will not generate footnotes.

5. To print the schedule from Excel, open the File menu and select Print.
