Add, change, or remove a station combo
Add and manage radio station combos for reports. A combo is two or more stations combined to report as one.

• If you switch between surveys that include or don't include a particular combo station, Tapscan updates the sourcing footnote details appropriately to note which station is included in the report.
• Special characters from the keyboard, except tilde (~) or pipe (|), letters and numbers are valid in combo names. An asterisk (*) will precede the combo's name in the station lists.
To add a station combo:
1. Click the Station* WHAT Stations do they use? link in the Select Parameters pane for the Qualitative Radio Ranker report.
2. Click the Add/Edit/Delete Combos link below the station list.
3. Find and select the stations that make up the combo.
You can press the Ctrl key while you click each station in the list and then click the 
arrow to move all to the Selected box.
4. Type a name for the combo and click Save.
If you get an error when selecting an existing combo...
Create a new combo with the same name as the broken combo causing the error. Be sure to click Save before closing the combo dialog.
5. Click Close to return to the Select Stations window.
6. Add the combo to the Selected box and click OK.
7. Click the 
button.
To change a station combo:
1. Click the Station* WHAT Stations do they use? link in the Select Parameters pane for the Qualitative Radio Ranker report.
2. Click the Add/Edit/Delete Combos link below the station list.
3. Select the combo name in the Select a Combo box.
4. Click a station in the Selected box to highlight it and click 
to return it to the Available box.
OR select a different station in the Available box to add to the Selected box.
5. Type a name for the combo and click Save.
It's very important to save your changes. Leaving the combo dialog without saving after defining a combo can corrupt your data.
6. Click Close to return to the Select Stations window, and then click OK.
7. For reports, click the button.
To remove a station combo:
1. Click the Station* WHAT Stations do they use? link in the Select Parameters pane for the Qualitative Radio Ranker report.
2. Click the Add/Edit/Delete Combos link below the station list.
3. Select the combo name in the Select a Combo box.
4. Click Delete Combo and then click OK.
The stations in the Selected box will move back to the station list when you close the Combo window.
5. Click Close to return to the Select Station window, and then click OK.
6. For reports, click the button.
