Ratings data is not available for a custom cable network. You must manually enter demo-based estimates in a schedule for a custom cable network avail row.You can create a custom cable network to associate with a cable system. Tapscan automatically displays the networks for a rated cable system on the Vendor Details page. See Related topics... to select additional cable networks.
Ratings data is not available for a custom cable network. You must manually enter demo-based estimates in a schedule for a custom cable network avail row.
To add a custom cable network:
1 On the Vendor Details page, click the Edit Cable Networks link.
2 Click the Add Cable Network button in the Select Cable Networks dialog.
3 Type the custom network abbreviation.
Maximum five characters from the keyboard.
4 Type the name for the custom cable network.
Maximum 30 characters from the keyboard.
5 Click OK to add the ID and network name to the Available list in the Select Cable Networks dialog.
Tapscan appends a § (section mark) to the name and ID for quick identification. For example, QRS-2§
To remove a custom cable network:
1 On the Vendor Details page, click the Edit Cable Networks link.
2 Click and highlight a custom cable network that includes the § (section mark) at the end of the name.
You can only delete a custom network that is not used in any schedule or by another cable system.
3 Click the 
trash can icon to permanently remove the custom cable network.
The trash can icon is inactive until you select a valid custom network.
