You can assign a custom daypart to specific vendors or set it to "global" for use by all vendors. Custom dayparts are available for use in a proposal's schedule.
You must define a custom daypart before you can assign it to other vendors. See Related topics... for instructions.
To assign a custom daypart:
1 Open the Daypart Codes tab in Accounts.
• Click the Accounts tab, then click the Vendors link at the top of the page.
• Select the vendor:
– Optionally, search for the name:
+ Click the button in the toolbar.
+ Select columns to search and click OK.
+ Type at least two characters in the search box and click the Search button.
To return to the original list and clear the search, click the Show All Rows link.
– To sort a column, click the column heading. Click again to reverse the order in the same column.
A
black arrow on top means the sort is in ascending order (lowest to highest). A
black arrow on the bottom means the sort is in descending order (highest to lowest).
– Click the name link.
• Click the Daypart Codes tab.
2 Click the Assign link in a custom daypart row to open the Assign Daypart dialog.
3 Optionally, type one or more characters in the Search box to filter the vendor list.
4 Click vendor(s) in the Available box to highlight and select them.
OR click the in the heading row to select all vendors.
Click
again to clear all highlights and selections. Or click a highlighted vendor a second time to remove the highlight and selection.
5 Click OK to close the Assign Daypart dialog.
Assignments are color-coded in the Assigned Dayparts grid:
– Blue = global
– Green = currently selected vendor
– Gray = other assigned vendors
6 Click Save in the toolbar to keep your selections and changes.
To set a global custom daypart:
1 Open the Daypart Codes tab in Accounts.
• Click the Accounts tab, then click the Vendors link at the top of the page.
• Select the vendor:
– Optionally, search for the name:
+ Click the button in the toolbar.
+ Select columns to search and click OK.
+ Type at least two characters in the search box and click the Search button.
To return to the original list and clear the search, click the Show All Rows link.

3 Click the Make Global checkbox at the bottom of the Assign Daypart dialog.
A global custom daypart is available for use by all vendors. A custom daypart can be either global or assigned to vendor(s).
4 Click OK to close the Assign Daypart dialog.
Assignments are color-coded in the Assigned Dayparts grid:
– Blue = global
– Green = currently selected vendor
– Gray = other assigned vendors
5 Click Save in the toolbar to keep your selections and changes.
