Copy a proposal

When creating a proposal that is similar to an existing proposal, it is fastest to copy information from one proposal to another. The copy will include the same proposal deltails, schedule(s) and goals that were defined in the original. You can edit any of these in the copy.

tipCopying a proposal does not copy any orders associated with that proposal.

To copy a proposal:

1  Click the Proposals tab.

2  Select the proposal to copy:

• Optionally, search for the proposal:

– Click the search gear button in the toolbar.

– Select columns to search and click OK.

– Type at least two characters in the search box and click the Search button.

tipTo return to the original list and clear the search, click the Show All Rows link.

• Click the checkbox before the proposal name to select it.

tipYou can only copy one proposal at a time.

3  Click the Copy Proposal button in the toolbar.

4  Select copying options:

• Select or clear the checkboxes for copying goals and schedules.

informationIf an option is inactive, you do not have any rows for the proposal's goals or schedule defined.

• Click Copy.

informationTapscan will open the new proposal and assign a default name. You can change the proposal's name.

5  Optionally, select a different advertiser:

• Click the plus adv button at the end of the Advertiser box.

• Optionally, search for the advertiser by typing at least two letters in the Search Advertiser Name box.

• Click the advertiser's name to highlight it.

• Click OK.

• Select brands and/or products for the new advertiser.

6  Change other details as needed.
