Set up how Tapscan calculates the totals and weeks data for budget, CPP or GRP goals. These three goals relate to each other according to the below formulas:
• Budget = CPP x GRPs
• GRPs = Budget / CPP
• CPP = Budget / GRPs
For example, if you change the total GRPs, Tapscan changes either the total budget or CPPs according to the formula.
To change how goals recalculate:
1 Click the Proposals tab.
2 Select the proposal:
• Optionally, search for the name:
– Click the button in the toolbar.
– Select columns to search and click OK.
– Type at least two characters in the search box and click the Search button.
To return to the original list and clear the search, click the Show All Rows link.
• To sort a column, click the column heading. Click again to reverse the order in the same column.
A
black arrow on top means the sort is in ascending order (lowest to highest). A
black arrow on the bottom means the sort is in descending order (highest to lowest).
• Click the name link.
3 Click the Goals tab.
4 Open the Actions menu in the toolbar and select Calculations.
5 In the Totals and Weeks sections, choose how to calculate goals:
The value you select is the one that will change.
• In the Budget row, click GRPs to calculate GRPs based on CPP, or click CPP to calculate CPP based on GRPs.
• In the GRPs row, click Budget to calculate CPP based on budget, or click CPP to calculate budget based on CPP.
• In the CPP row, click Budget to calculate GRPs based on budget, or click GRP to calculate budget based on GRPs.
For example, if you select GRPs in the Budget row, Tapscan uses CPP to recalculate GRPs when you change the budget and the CPP remains the same. If you select CPP in the Budget row, Tapscan uses GRPs to recalculate CPP when you change the budget and the GRPs remain the same.
6 Click OK.
7 Click Save in the toolbar to keep your changes.
