Add, change, or remove a station combo

• If you switch between surveys that include or don't include a particular combo station, Tapscan updates the sourcing footnote details appropriately to note which station is included in the report.

• Combo names are shared across markets and schedules and must be unique. Special characters from the keyboard, except tilde (~) or pipe (|), letters and numbers are valid in combo names. An asterisk (*) will precede the combo's name in the station lists.

1. For reports, click the Station link in the parameters pane at the top of the page.

OR for schedules, open the Actions menu in the toolbar and select Modify Stations.

2. Click the Add/Edit/Delete Combos link below the station list.

3. Find and select the stations that make up the combo.

You can press the Ctrl key while you click each station in the list and then click the arrow to move all to the Selected box.

4. Type a name for the combo and click Save.

If you get an error when selecting an existing combo...

5. Click Close to return to the Select Stations window.

6. To add the combo for reports:

• Add the combo to the Selected box and click OK.

• Click the button.

OR to add the combo for schedules:

• Click the Show only Combos link above the Selected box on the right.

This displays all saved combos for all markets including combos you created in reports.

• Add the combo to the Selected box and click OK.

• Complete the Add Flight dialog.

2. Click the Add/Edit/Delete Combos link below the station list.

3. Select the combo name in the Select a Combo box.

4. Click a station in the Selected box to highlight it and click to return it to the Available box.

OR select a different station in the Available box to add to the Selected box.

5. Type a name for the combo and click Save.

It's very important to save your changes. Leaving the combo dialog without saving after defining a combo can corrupt your data.

6. Click Close to return to the Select Stations window, and then click OK.

7. For reports, click the button.

2. Click the Add/Edit/Delete Combos link below the station list.

3. Select the combo name in the Select a Combo box.

4. Click Delete Combo and then click OK.

The stations in the Selected box will move back to the station list when you close the Combo window.

5. Click Close to return to the Select Station window, and then click OK.

6. For reports, click the button.

OR for schedules, complete the Add Flight dialog.
