You can export any report with an Export button in the toolbar to a comma-delimited file. The .csv file can be imported into a Microsoft® Excel spreadsheet for further manipulation.
To export reports:
1. If you use Internet Explorer, set up Tapscan as a trusted site to avoid displaying an Information Bar and needing to regenerate your report before exporting:
• Close Tapscan.
• On the home page where you view the list of available web apps, open the Tools menu in the Internet Explorer toolbar and select Internet Options.
• Open the Security tab, select Trusted Sites and click the Sites button.
• Type https://tapweb.nielsen.com in the Add this Web site box and click Add.
• Click Close and then click OK.
• Relaunch Tapscan.
A security message appears to verify you're trying to open Tapscan. Click Yes.
2. Create the report that you want to export.
Best practice is to export from Table view. Sometimes exporting from Box or Graph view causes unexpected results.
3. Click the Export button in the toolbar.
If nothing seems to happen, look for a light yellow information bar just under your Internet Explorer title bar. Click the X on the Information Bar to close it, close Tapscan, and return to step 1 above.
4. In the File Download dialog, click Open to open the report in Excel.
OR click Save to store the .csv file on your computer.
