You can exclude one or mulitple rows from a schedule without deleting the row and losing your work. If you choose, you can toggle the row back on later.
The toggle state remains in effect when you change layouts, switch media tabs, show spot or unit/insertion placement in days, or when you save and reopen a schedule.
You can toggle rows in the Radio or NTR media tab while Station Distribution Grouping is displayed. You cannot toggle rows in the All Media view or in any other Distribution view.
When the row is toggled off...
• Spots or Units are set to zero.
• Station/Vendor or week total rows do not include amounts for the row.
• Printed reports do not include the row.
• Tapscan remembers values for spots/units, estimates, and totals originally associated with the row to reinsert them when the row is toggled on.
What if I toggle off a row of totals?
If you toggle off a totals row or a row at the top of a hierarchy, Tapscan will toggle off all the rows grouped under that row. For example:
• If you toggle off a week row, all daypart or ad type rows associated with that week are toggled off too.
• If you toggle off a station or vendor row, all week and daypart/ad type rows associated with that station/vendor are also toggled off. When a row is toggled off, that row is toggled across all weeks within the flight, even if you select to toggle only one week. See Related topics... below for more information.
The best practice is to use Expand Grid by Default in the Layouts menu to make sure you're selecting only what you really want to toggle off. Undo is not supported, but you can always toggle on the same items.
To toggle rows off and on:
Click the star in the On/Off column of the row (third column from the left).
A star means the row is toggled off and is inactive. A star means the row is toggled on and an active part of the schedule.
