Before you remove a row, you can toggle it off to determine if the results are what you expect and want. Be sure you really want to eliminate a row, as Undo is not supported.
For more information about toggling rows, see Related topics... below.
If you select a row at the top of a hierarchy, Tapscan will remove that row and all the rows grouped under that row. For example:
• If you select a week row, all dayparts or ad types associated with that week are removed.
• If you select a station or vendor row, all weeks and dayparts/ad types associated with that vendor are removed.
• When a row is deleted, that row is removed from all weeks, even if you had only selected a subset of weeks. This keeps the rows the same in all weeks within a flight. See Related topics... below for more information.
The layout you choose determines the hierarchies, so best practice is to use Expand Grid by Default in the Layouts menu to make sure you're selecting only what you really want to remove.
To remove rows:
1. Click the checkbox in the Delete/Reset column (on the left edge of the schedule) to select a row to remove.
A check in the box means it's selected. You can select multiple rows to delete.
2. Click the Delete Rows button in the toolbar to remove selected rows.
Undo is not supported!
