Add socioeconomic characteristics to gender, start age and end age to create a specific target audience for your advertiser. You can include preference level for a single National Radio Data survey.
When you select multiple demos for a schedule, the first demo listed in the Selected box is the primary demo.
Tapscan will display estimates that are <30 in-tab for ethnic standard demos along with the minimum in-tab exception footnote.
New socioeconomic information for PPM markets supporting Hispanic ethnicity will provide the country of origin (Mexico, Cuba, or Puerto Rico) for Hispanic respondents in the Metro geography only.
You must select the Hispanic ethnicity question/answer before selecting a country of origin question. You cannot include other ethnicities in the question.
To define custom demos:
1 Click the Demo link in the parameter pane at the top of the page.
2 Click the Custom tab to create a demo that includes socioeconomic characteristics:
• Select the gender, the start age and the end age with the drop-down boxes in the Available box.
• Click Add More Characteristics to include respondent level data:
– Click an item in the Questions box to highlight it.
– Choose an option from the Answers box and click Add to move the characteristic to the Selections box.
You can also double-click the option to move it without clicking the Add button.
– Repeat to add as many characteristics as needed.
You can combine Listening Location and Preference Level in rankers, composition reports, CCP table and Hour-by-Hour reports. The Listening Location report shows only a preference selection in the socioeconomic dialog and locations are applied to breakouts. The Loyalty Composition report shows only a location selection in the socioeconomic dialog.
Preference level is now available for National Radio Data when you select one survey.
– Use the Remove, Clear Row, and Clear All links if you change your mind.
– Click OK.
– Click the arrow to move the custom demo to the Selected box when you can select multiple demos.
3 Optionally, save your selection(s) as a favorite if you frequently use these choices:
• Type a name to represent all the items you chose.
You can use letters, numbers or special characters from the keyboard in the name.
• Click Save.
The name for the group appears in the Favorites box at the top of the window. You can select a favorite name the next time to finish with one click.
4 Click OK.
5 Click to see the results.
