Break Apart Flight

You can split a multi-week flight that already exists in the schedule into multiple identical single-week flights, one flight for each week in the original flight. Radio and NTR flights are broken apart using the same process.

TO BREAK APART A FLIGHT:

1. Display a single media Station/Vendor distribution view:

• Select the Radio or NTR tab.

• Open the Layouts menu and select Station Distribution (Radio) or Vendor Distribution (NTR).

2. Select the flight that you wish to edit and click the flight's name in the schedule grid.

3. From the drop-down menu, select Break Apart Flight.

Tapscan displays the Edit Flight menu.

The Break Apart Flight option appears only for multi-week flights and is not available for single-week flights.

4. TAPSCAN will ask for confirmation since this action cannot be undone.

5. Click OK to continue.

TAPSCAN will break the selected flight into single week flights.  The original flight is removed.

Each new single week flight will have the same name as the original flight, and each will contain the same rows and user-defined values as the original flight.

Other flights in the schedule will not be changed.
