After you build a schedule associated with a proposal, you can create an insertion order for each vendor with scheduled spots/units. Then you can print orders or send them electronically to Marketron Exchange for insertion into their traffic systems, Marketron Traffic, DeltaFlex and Visual Traffic.
Requirements and more about creating orders...
• You must subscribe to the Marketron Exchange service to transfer radio orders. If you aren't a subscriber, you can still create an order but you can't send it to Marketron.
• A schedule must be associated with a proposal and saved on the Tapscan Server to create orders. You can save a locally saved schedule to the Tapscan Server to satisfy this requirement.
• Zero spot/unit rows must be removed from the schedule or spots/units must be assigned to those rows before you can create an order.
• All rows must be toggled on in the schedule. Remove rows toggled off and save the schedule again.
• The schedule cannot contain combined stations or dayparts and the dayparts cannot cross midnight.
• All orders must be for future dates.
• There will be a separate order created for each station/vendor in your schedule.
• Each order will have a unique number with the revision number set to zero (i.e., Order # 100-r0).
To create an order:
1 Open a schedule associated with a proposal:
• Click the Proposals tab and select a saved proposal.
• Click the Schedule tab.
• Select the appropriate media tab.

2 Select Create Order from the Actions menu in the toolbar.
If your schedule does not meet the requirements, a red message displays indicating what to change. You can create up to 25 orders at one time.
3 Select the stations/vendors:
• Click vendors in the Available list to highlight and select them.
OR click the check in the Available list heading to select all vendors.
• Click OK.
A message displays when orders are successfully created.
4 Change order header details:
If there are orders for multiple stations/vendors, you can enter details for each one or apply the details to all.
• Select a station/vendor to change from the drop-down list at the top of the dialog if there are multiple orders.
• Click the arrow to select a different contact for the advertiser.
• Type any job, estimate or contract numbers in the boxes.
• Type a value in the Net% box.
You must include the % sign with the value.
• Click the arrows to select revenue type, billing calculations and order type.
• Click the Notes arrow to select specific proposal, vendor, advertiser or custom notes. Then type the notes in the box.
• Repeat this step for each station/vendor ordered.
OR, click the Apply to All Vendors button to use the same details for each one.
5 If you made changes, click the Save button.
A message displays when the orders are successfully updated.
6 Click the Go To Orders Tab button to view or print orders or send your order to Marketron Exchange.
OR click Return to Schedule.
