Specify one or more days and time periods as a unique daypart for reports or schedules.
You can also create custom dayparts that cross midnight, like M-F 5a-5a. These dayparts are stored as combo dayparts (M-F 5a-12m + Tu-Sa 12m-5a) for estimates.
for reports...
1. Open the Dayparts link in the parameter pane at the top of the page.
2. Click the Custom tab in the Available box.
3. Select the days to include in the daypart.
A check in the box means the day is selected.
4. Set the start time and end time for the daypart:
• Click the 
to open the hour and minute lists, and click the number you want.
• Select AM, PM, NOON, or MID(night) the same way.
5. Click the 
button to move the custom daypart to the Selected box.
6. Optionally, save all the custom dayparts in the Selected box as a new favorite:
• Type a name for the favorite at the bottom of the window.
• Click Save.
You can select the favorite by name the next time to finish with one click.
7. Click OK to save your daypart selections.
8. Click 
to see the results in the report.

1. Access the Dayparts dialog from the Add Flight dialog or Add Dayparts to Flight dialog. See Related topics... below for more information.
2. Click the Custom tab in the Available box.

• Click the check boxes to select or clear them.
A check in the box means the day is selected.
• Set the start time and end time for the daypart:
– Click the to open the hour and minute lists, and click the number you want.
– Select AM, PM, NOON, or MID(night) the same way.
• Click the button to move the custom daypart to the Selected box.
• Repeat step 3 to create other custom dayparts.
4. Optionally, click the Save as Default Dayparts button if you want each new station or flight you add to include these dayparts.
The Default Dayparts group appears in the Favorites box. You can change the dayparts saved in this favorite at any time. Tapscan will only use the default dayparts when creating a new station or flight; existing flights and stations will not be changed.
OR save all the custom dayparts in the Selected box as a new favorite:
• Type a name for the favorite at the bottom of the window.
• Click Save.
You can select the favorite by name the next time to finish with one click.
5. Click OK to save your daypart selections.
