The Add Flight dialog opens. This version of the dialog does not include the vendor selection. The flight is added to the selected vendor.Add a new flight to a single selected station that already contains rows in your Radio schedule.
To add rows to a Vendor:
1. Select Vendor Distribution:
• Click Layouts on the toolbar.
• Click Vendor Distribution.
2. Click the vendor name link in the schedule grid and then click the Add Flight link:
The Add Flight dialog opens. This version of the dialog does not include the vendor selection. The flight is added to the selected vendor.
3. Tapscan provides a default flight name. You can optionally update the Flight Name.
4. Weeks that are selected into your schedule from the Parameter pane are available for selection. Click individual dates in the Weeks Available list to adjust the Selected weeks.
5. Define the list of daypart rows that must be included in the flight:
• Click the add ad types link.
• Tapscan displays the Add Ad Type dialog.
• Click Ad Types in the Available box to highlight and select the add types.
• Optionally, create new ad types.
To create new Ad Types...
–Click the Create New Ad Type button at the bottom of the dialog.
– Type a name in the ad type box.
– Optionally, type an ad placement indicator.
Maximum 35 keyboard characters, except ~ (tilde) and | (pipe), for both ad type and ad placement boxes.
– Click OK.
The new ad type is automatically added to the Available and Selected boxes.
– Repeat the steps above to create more Ad Types, as desired.
• Click OK in the Add Ad Types dialog.
The Ad Types list in the Add Flight dialog now lists teh selected Ad Types.
6. Optionally, type values for units, size, and unit rate to be applied to each ad type row.
• The Spots/Units must be a whole number with no decimals.
• The Unit Rate is a maximum of $99,999.
7. Click OK to add the new flight to the schedule.
